Is Switzerland soon caught in Baabyrace Mania?
The Denner Baby from the TV commercial now runs and jumps through Swiss mobile screens. The new mobile game "Babyrace" is the latest coup from the young Winterthur agency "ESE Agency".
Almost a bit too cool for an ad game: The jump’n’run game Babyrace shines in the iconic 80s Nintendo look, creating addiction potential for both nostalgics and our smartphone generation. But what it does best: It playfully and experientially picks up Denner's "Close to you" campaign. The game challenge says: Run and jump with the baby from the TV spot faster than the countdown goes down. It shows you in real time how long an adult person needs to walk at walking pace from a Swiss landmark to the next Denner store.
In the background, the sceneries of Swiss cities are drawn with much love for detail. Whether it's the Freddie Mercury statue in Montreux, Sechseläutenplatz in Zurich, or the Tinguely Fountain in Basel – the next Denner is only a baby jump away.
